Gunnar's Runners Fundraising Tee- Unisex
AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE UNTIL FEBRUARY 20! TEES WILL BE DELIVERED OR SHIPPED THE FIRST WEEK IN MARCH.
Gunnar Chester was born in October 2013 with a genetic condition called Fibular Hemimelia, which means he is missing the fibular bone in both of his legs and therefore was born without “feet”. In August and September of 2014, Gunnar underwent two amputation surgeries at The Shriner’s Hosptial’s for Children in Tampa Florida. Over a year later and after much physical therapy, Gunnar received his first set of prosthetic legs. Gunnar has learned how to use his new legs and is learning how to walk for the first time. Gunnar is a huge blessing to his family and has inspired many. He is currently a sweet and spunky 15 month old boy full of perseverance and a lively spirit. It is clear that God is alive and living through him each and every day.
Gunnar's family goal is to fund-raise to help cover the cost of medical expenses, travel costs and missed unpaid work time. The "Gunnar's Runners" tees will also be worn in the 2015 Gate River Run in Jacksonville, FL as a reminder that God gave us all feet and that through perseverance, belief and faith in Him alone, we can cross any finish line of the race that has been set out for us. Please help by support this family and become one of “Gunnar’s Runners”.
